Cookie Policy

Last updated: March 1, 2026

Adalati uses cookies and similar technologies to provide, secure, and improve the platform. This policy explains what cookies we use and why.

1. Essential Cookies

These cookies are necessary for the platform to function. They handle authentication, session management, tenant identification, and security. You cannot opt out of essential cookies — without them, the platform would not work.

Session token, tenant context, CSRF protection, locale preference

2. Analytics Cookies

We use privacy-respecting analytics (no personal data tracking) to understand how advocates use the platform — which features are used most, where users encounter friction, and how onboarding flows perform. Analytics data is aggregated and anonymised. No individual user behaviour is tracked or sold.

Page views, feature usage frequency, onboarding completion rate

3. Preference Cookies

These cookies remember your choices — such as language preference (English or Hindi), theme preference (light or dark mode), and dashboard layout settings. They make the platform more convenient by avoiding repeated setup.

Language selection, theme mode, sidebar collapsed state

4. Third-Party Cookies

Adalati does not use advertising cookies or sell data to third parties. The only third-party cookies may come from embedded services (such as WhatsApp chat widgets or payment processing). These are governed by the respective third party's cookie policy.

5. Managing Cookies

You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling non-essential cookies will not affect core platform functionality. Essential cookies cannot be disabled while using the platform.

6. DPDP Act Compliance

Our cookie practices comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). We collect the minimum data necessary and provide clear information about what is collected and why. For questions about cookies, contact our Data Protection Officer at dpo@adalati.com.
